Site Rules

Last revised: July 16, 2026

Bombooru is a themed imageboard. These rules decide what may be uploaded, how posts should be tagged, what quality bar applies, and how staff enforce standards. If something is ambiguous, ask a moderator before you upload.

Related: Terms of Service (footer) and Privacy Policy (footer).

1. Hard Bans (Do Not Upload)

The following is never allowed. Violations can lead to immediate removal of content and account action, including permanent bans:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind. Discussion that seeks to legalize child pornography or normalize “MAP” positions is also banned.
  • Toddlercon
  • 3DCG loli
  • NTR
  • Primary “bleached” / “blacked” content (see §3 for the narrow cynical exception involving Bombed themes)
  • HMOFA that is not explicitly Bombed / on-theme
  • AI-generated art (little to no exception)
  • Low-quality edits (see §4 Quality Control)
  • Generic meme dumps, “statistics” posts, and Reddit-style junk (unless it is genuinely funny and on-theme)

Coordinating raids on other sites via Bombooru is forbidden. Spamming unrelated images or vandalizing tags is forbidden. Targeted harassment is not allowed unless the other party is into it.

2. What Counts as On-Theme

Bombooru centers on Bombed / Muslim-male-focused raceplay and related edits. Content is generally on-theme when it includes one or more of the following:

Theme identity (for tagging / scope)

For theme purposes, “Muslim” commonly includes (non-exhaustive): Arabs, Somalis, Turks, Sudanese, Eritreans, Egyptians, Libyans, Algerians, Moroccans, Tunisians, Yemenis, Omanis, Chadians, the Levant, much of West Africa, Indonesians, Pakistanis, Iranians, Iraqis, Syrians, Uyghurs, Azerbaijanis, Afghans, and most of Central Asia.

Sexual / power themes that fit
  • Muslim male × non-Muslim female
  • Muslim male topping non-Muslim male
  • Raceplay that highlights desirability, dominance, or similar framing of Muslim men (and closely related niches)
  • Femdom / humiliation niches where a Muslim female tops a non-Muslim female, and similar variants — ask staff if unsure
  • Polplay / outfits tied to Islamist or “Islamic loving” aesthetics (hijab, etc.)
  • Race edits converting non-Muslim characters into Muslim presentation (male or female)
  • Tattoos / marks that match Bombed or related political iconography on a girl
  • Cynical reuse of “bleached/blacked” aesthetics (e.g. National Socialism, Confederation, Pan-Africanism) where a non-Muslim / opposing aesthetic is subverted by a Muslim male (example: Nazi-apparel female dominated by a Muslim male)
Clothing / props
  • Theme clothing such as Bombed stockings, WILD choker, and comparable Bombed wardrobe pieces

3. What Is Off-Theme (Even If Explicit)

These do not count as on-theme by themselves:

  • Plain pinups — solo girl, no meaningful edit. Being non-Muslim does not make a plain pinup on-theme.
  • Exception for sets: a plain pinup that belongs to a larger set (comic, CG pack, multipage work) may be posted if posts are parented and/or placed in a pool.
  • Males from Europe, from non–majority-Islamic parts of Africa, or other non-predominant Islamic regions — even if labeled Muslim — are generally off-theme for the male side of the fantasy.

4. Quality Control

Staff remove low-quality work. Common automatic failure modes:

  • PNG dragging — flat, unwarped, unblended overlays
  • Phone / app junk — obvious mobile editor artifacts or watermarks (use real tools: Photoshop, GIMP, Affinity, Paint.NET, etc.)
  • Bad warp / bad blend — little warp, or lighting that does not match the base
  • Aliasing — harsh jagged edges on skin or tattoos
  • Bad crop — tattoos covering hair or anatomy they should not
  • Bad skin work — male skin excessively desaturated, muddy brown, or too yellow
  • Caption failure — brick text, bad alignment, poor spelling/grammar, meme fonts (no Impact / Comic Sans for user captions)
  • Sample-source edit — working from a resized sample instead of the full original (use SauceNAO / reverse search)
  • Low-effort — e.g. only an eyes censor bar, or a cutout girl pasted on a random background
  • Weak base art — source image too poor for the board (subjective; used carefully)
  • User captions not in English — if you add a non-English caption, also add an English translation with Notes (original in-image text is fine)

5. Tagging & Sources

# New uploads need at least 10 tags. Aim for:

  • Artist
  • Copyright / series
  • Characters
  • Editor (when the post is an edit)
  • Descriptive tags until you hit 10+ (for edits, prefer work-describing tags such as "race_edit")

# Tag races, body types, and other useful details when you can.
# Chronic under-tagging can cost upload rights or get you banned.
# Put the true source URL when known (Pixiv, Twitter/X, ArtStation, etc.). Do not cite another booru unless the original is gone or only exists behind a paywall.
# Extreme material (loli/shota; snuff, ryona, disposal) must be tagged correctly or you risk bans / upload loss.
# Low-quality 3DCG GIF spam is not welcome; high-quality 3DCG animation may be allowed case-by-case.

6. Flagging & Staff Process

# Flag posts that break these rules so moderators can act.
# Deletions should include a reason and the staff username.
# Staff should stay in touch with the rest of the team through admin channels.
# Staff mainly remove rule-breaking posts, but may also remove inflammatory, bad-faith, community-hostile, or simply unsuitable material even when no single line is violated — preferably after checking with other staff. In short: moderators and admins may remove posts for reasons the staff finds acceptable.
# Do not appeal deletions on the forum. Message a moderator directly.
# Follow comment norms; comment abuse can get you banned.

7. Law & Jurisdiction

Content must comply with applicable law. CSAM is permanently banned. Using the site to organize harassment raids elsewhere is banned.

When in doubt: ask first, upload second.
